Weights on the Take up Reel HP Latex

Just curious if any of the latex users on here ever use clamp on weights to apply more tension on certain materials. We are experimenting with a lot of new fabrics and we notice if we apply some weight onto the dancer bar we get pretty great results. (This is more specific to the 500 series)

Has anyone else tried to apply more tension to the dancer bar when trying to run lightweight fabrics?

This is super old, but when I used to run a specific brand of poly-something for tradeshow graphics, we used to put tubes of construction adhesive in the balance bar thing and tape the ends so it wouldn't slide out. That kept the material flat when it ran through and didn't buckle with the heat. ha

This was on our 25500 btw.
