What is causing discoloration in print

We have a Mimaki JV33-160 which most of the time we get pretty good prints from. Every once in a while it does this (see image) though, and no one seems to know why. Printing on the same media (though a different lot; this was a brand-new roll of 3M IJ-180CV3) a few days ago with the same profile we got a perfect print. I don't have any clue outside of a bad lot of 180 as to what could cause it, but if it is something we are doing wrong, I'd like to lock it down ASAP. This isn't the first time it's happened.

I'm not positive, but it kinda looks like it could be some humidity. There may have been some moister in the roll and that part of the vinyl was sticking to the part it was rolled up on, so when it printed it left those streaks. but it could also be a bad roll. Have you tried unwinding the roll a little to see if you can see any visible flaws on the surface before printing?

It could be, but we printed a different image after this and the issue didn't present. Almost leads me to believe it could be the heater settings in that profile (Flexi 11). If so I'm not sure which (pre, post, etc). I emailed the pic(s) to our 3M rep who's usually pretty good about getting back to us on these things, but thought I'd ask here as well.

FWIW the discoloration didn't stay in straight lines, toward the middle it started shifting around and expanding to different spots on the print (see below).
