I'm looking for a non-adhesive backed vinyl (I think) to make a scrolling sign for the inside of a travel bus... Does anyone now what type of material I should and where I could get it from?

I just use 10 oz banner material. I think we have over a hundred buses we have done these for. The routings usually get changed way before they wear out.

But then again we also use the same material for scrolling banner stands for trade shows...

Yea I thought we could use a light banner material but these scrolling signs are backlit. The material that we are trying to replace was like a translucent pvc film with no adhesive. Any thoughts?

all-signz, what printer are you using? Look for backlit material...comes in two varieties-front print or back-print. Image is usually crisper with front-print; however, you WILL need to laminate it

I'm looking into a fusion solvent 8.5 mil polyester backlit film now, put a call into fellers and they are checking to see if it will work. My concern is that the material will not scroll properly. it will be attached to 2 1" rods and I just want to be sure that it will scroll with no problems.
