i reported it to my local hp tech support, and they will probably submit a report.to the regional hp hub. frankly, I'm not expecting it to be on top of their priority list of things to fix. but i hope that once enough people notice the issue, it might get the attention that it needs. your issue tho is much much more exaggerated. and would probably produce unsellable output. i hope your local tech support can give you better answers/solutions. i will give you updates as soon as i hear from my tech again.

Reason why that happens to you is the way you print the file and the light colors. Also the technology and possibly if your printheads have seen enough of use.
You can see a ton of overspray on that black because it's only starting to print there and printing so little every pass. Same thing with the light color. It's not accurate and spraying a lot.
Add the color bars and print again. I can pretty much promise to you that you will have way nicer result.

I will do that. Is there a way to add them in Flexi? I cant find it if so.
If not, What exactly do they need to be, and I'll do it manually.

In the meantime........Here are 4 more pictures to show what I am talking about when I say its in line with my white.

Yes there is a way to add them in flexi. Please take a screenshot from the first tab of editing a job properties in flexi (size, copies, position etc.). Its there, I'll show you.

Or was it in the Marks tab, eh can't remember.

Edit: Yes, I think it's behind the Marks tab.

This is with added color bands. Its weird how if you look at the top of the "T" each side is printed perfect, but the middle is all jacked up, and there is a very defined line where it starts, and stops.

you might want to show the color bands. the color bands are there so that you'd have an idea which color is failing. :)

sorry, i didn't make myself clear. you usually take a look at the color bands and see if there is a correlation between the parts with poor print and that specific part of the color band.

That is precisely where the problem with the print is. There is no difference in the band throughout. It looks perfect from beginning to end.

Well. It was a bad, NEW printhead. I got some Chinese ones in, and the problem disappeared.
Thanks for everyone's input, and suggestions.
