Window Perf Install problems

Hello, long time listener, first time caller.

I have a question about installing window perf on store fronts (ie, flat surfaces). They are laminated with optically clear.

No matter how hard or soft I apply pressure when laying it down with my squeegee, I get markings where my squeegee was used. Is there a way to eliminate these? Or is there a technique that I'm missing?

Two things we do that help lessen squeegee marks, 1) Premask the graphic, or 2) spray the PRINT side of the graphic with light soapy water, helps lubricate your squeegee. Use a soft squeegee too.

Teflon squeegee sleeves help too. Most of those marks disappear over time, especially if they get direct sun.
