XC-540 Print Head Alignments How To

JulieS

I'm proud of myself, just replaced my first print head. I've watched our tech do the alignments before, but am not remembering clearly which screw makes which adjustment. I know, it should probably be obvious, but...Is it left screw=bias adjustment, middle screw=vertical? And then how is the horizontal adjustment done? Also, being an amateur, am I in danger of over-tightening something?
Thanks for any advice y'all can give!

Or would anyone happen to have an XC-540 Service Manual they could send me? I'm assuming that would explain everything.

DIY Printer Fixing Guide
You have to loosen the 3 screws that hold the head down before doing the bias and vertical.

Left Allen screw is the bias adjuster.

Middle white thumb screw is for vertical.

Horizontal is an electronic alignment. It is very similar to the bi-directional alignment. Just select the number where the lines meet up.

Bi-Directional default sets a base line for the user bi-directional alignment.
