Not wanting to thread jack every thread I see cars mentioned I decided to make a safe haven for us car guys/gals. I have seen some mention of some awesome cars out there lets see what you got!!

My daily driver:
2008 Saab 9-7x aero. GM thought dropping a Corvette LS2 engine in a Saab was a good idea. It was a flop.... But it is a super rad car, GM guys wouldn't buy a Saab and Saab guys didn't want a gas guzzler. I picked this thing up used for the price of the engine alone. Not loving the mileage right now as this is my grocery getter that drives my 3 year old around town. But stepping on the gas is impressive for such a heavy vehicle.

My Baby:
92 VW Corrado VR6. Most have no idea what this car is around town. I wanted one since the first time I saw one and I finally got it. Drove it home from Chicago in a snow storm, not a trip I would want to do again.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38n4MPxVgoo
video was to get help with a problem I was having.

Delivery car:
2006 VW GLI. Fun car and it gets 30mpg. Very quiet and needs 0 maintenance.

My Drag car:
I grew up at the drag strip. Set up for Super Gas 9:90 Quarter Mile. 350 Chevy weighs very little. Traveled around the US bracket racing with my Dad. Sadly this is his car but he suddenly passed away from cancer last August so now it is mine. I plan on wrapping it this summer and keeping the family tradition alive.
http://vimeo.com/27726417
video was for my pops service, from tons of old videos. I am driving in about 50% or so.

My work truck:
Nothing fancy 2001 Toyota Tundra. I have had 3 different trucks and this one is a tank.

I am in my 4th year on a lease of a 2008 Nissan Altima sl.... can't wait to get something new.... Was looking at that new KIA Optima with the 273 HP. Good on gas and runs on regular...Perfect.

My Wife drives my old 2002 Chrysler 300M special, which in it's day was a beast. Now it lunks along. I might get rid of it too as it runs on Mid grade and burns it good....maybe I get her something cheap and small... Kia soeul?

This was my daily driver for quite a while. 1999 Silverado, 6.0l LQ4, TH400, 82mm front mount turbo. Ran 11.3's in the 1/4 and never had a problem with it. Pushing 600rwhp, there wasn't much on the street it couldn't handle. CLICK

Current work truck...bought it with the current mods (shorty header, air intake, that's about it). No plans to race this...it's all about good gas mileage.

My daily driver: 09 Chevy Cobolt Sport (no pic)

Racecar: Hyper Chassis 600 Micro. We run these with Kawasaki 636 motorcycle engines. Put out about 140 HP and reach speeds of 100+ on bigger tracks. We race in the tri state area (jersey, pa, de) on a weekly basis and travel all over the country for big races. pics below.

Restoration Project: I don't have pics right now but I'm in the process of doing a ground up resto on a 85 c10 pickup. crate 350, muncie 3 speed, hurse shifter on the floor, 4 barrel, 9" rear, custom interior, custom sound system, fully painted bed, all ORANGE, black rims and bumpers. Still in the process.....

Definitely subscribed!

My husband and I are both gearheads, which creates a problem, we have a hard time saying no to buying a car. :) We have a small fleet of assorted vehicles. One vehicle for every need.

I'll start with our pride and joy a 1969 Mercury Cougar XR7 convertible - a big work in progress that is taking up most of our garage. She has a very rusted undercarriage so we purchased a very clean shell to transfer everything into. I can't wait to get the shell painted and start the transfer. She has a 351 Windsor and we put on a dual exhaust with magnaflow mufflers. It sounds so nice :)

Second is my play toy - 1991 Nissan Sentra SE-R. Original engine made it to 260,000 miles but developed a knock so we are currently replacing the engine and adding a little boost for added fun. Hoping to take this one to the track this summer.

Third is my daily driver - 1996 Infiniti I30, nothing special but it is a nice daily.

Fourth is my husbands 1997 Jeep Cherokee. Great for wheeling and going to Moab

Fifth is our work horse - a 1992 F350. I love this truck. It takes whatever we dish out and keeps going. Workhorse +++

Oh yeah, we have one other work in progress. We are currently learning body shop on our 1968 Ford camper special. We now have it completely primed and ready for paint soon.

A corrado! I haven't seen one of those in a very long time. Such cool cars. Very unique. My husband said he would sell body parts for that car. :ROFLMAO:

nice boss!

What I'm building. I'm not to the stage of putting the body on yet. This pic is from the kit builder. I'm still prepping the rolling chassis. I hope to get the body on it this year.

If you were questioning it I am a Mopar nut. Here is my current project in my long line of old Dodge iron. Its a 1978 Plymouth Volare Super Coupe. Owned it since 1995. Took out the original 360 within 24 hours of bringing it home.

512 ci stroker, Reverse pattern auto, 4300 stall, 2 shots nos, and 10.5" rear tires all equals 9.5 seconds of extreme fun.

Been running this motor setup for a tad over 12 years. Took its toll on the unibody and car is currently getting bolted back together after a strip, acid dip and major chassis repair, stiffening, and suspension upgrades.

Totally streetable and I have driven it to the Mopar Nats a total of 7 times.

Edit: Found one photo from late 90's with the first 440 in it

Well I'm a huge BMW fan... bimmers, not beamers.

I personally have a 2004 E46 M3 that's 100% stock. By far one of the most fun cars to really drive. Here's a photo from the last track event I attended and a photo of the car in a puddle in front of our office.

I also have a 2005 Silverado with the "Performance Package". This includes the 6.0L High Output LQ9 from the SS and the Z85 "sport" suspension. The only photo I have here is it towing the car.

My mom and dad started my whole car obsession. They had a body shop in Nebraska in the 80's and used to do some amazing show cars. These days they're BMW fans too. Here's my dad's M6 with a 5.0L V10 and my mom's X5 with the 4.8L V8.

Hey mopar691,
Like the stroker motor.:cool1: No replacement for displacement. Would like to build a 5.0 Coyote with a hairdryer someday.

BTW: I'll still run ya straight up, no spray.
