    The question really depends on your goals and needs for a design program. If you're looking for something fast and easy with built-in assets, Canva is the better value. If you want to create professional images, edit out imperfections, or create works of art, Photoshop is probably the better value.

    Didn't realize you had embossed lettering on it. Like you said, sand it, prep it and carefully letter those letters on the up side. If you're careful, you could use a thin nap roller and lightly cover the letters with your black paint.

    Being your first attempt, I'd do it with some rapid II. Play it safe. I don't know about avery products, but I'd be using ora-cal about 651 or 751 if you want high end.

    I have an opaque projector that does the same thing, just not near as expensive. I remember a long time ago, going to drive-in movies and seeing this same technology..... it even had sound with it.

    Yep. It's an ancient secret someone told me about..... so I guess it wasn't a great big secret. But I just finished it. Looks nice after I filled it back in.
