  1. Just replaced both print heads (OEM) on my SG-300, now it won't print anything

Check the fuses on the main board. It is easy to blow them when changing a head, and if you do then the heads won't print.
  2. Graphtec fcx2000 not reading holographic

The printers were never designed for use with holographic or mirror or reflective vinyl ( for most machines this wasn't even available at the time they came out! ). They use optical sensors, so if they get flooded with too much reflection from the material, they can't read where the head is...
  3. SCAM company miamisignssupply.com

The problem is they own the domain name. If their current web host bans them, they just move to another one, so there is pretty much no point reporting them :(
  4. Question Anyone Figured Out How to Wet Cap an EcoSolvent Print head?

Printing small things every day costs next to nothing. It is certainly a lot cheaper than having to replace heads!
  5. Question Anyone Figured Out How to Wet Cap an EcoSolvent Print head?

How long are you talking about it being idle? Solvent heads dont like having ink sitting in them, so if you sealed the head you are likely to do more damage. The best way to keep them working is to have fresh ink flowing through them regularly, so letting the printer do its automatic cleanings...
  6. Question problem buying jetbest inks on ebay (no combined shipping)

Message the seller and let them know you want to buy, but only if they can combine the shipping. Oddly the seller in the UK who sells them on ebay won't combine shipping either. You have to pay £10 per cartridge, then they send them all in one box that costs £10 to ship!
  7. Roland BN-20 Overspray after a manual clean.

How did you clean the head manually in the first place? From the nozzle tests it looks like you have damaged it. First step would be to change the captops and see if that improves the test prints
  8. SP540V slow printing (head stops at each end for few seconds)

The inks have nothing to do with it :) The printer doesn't know it is running 3rd party inks so won't behave any differently
  9. DX5 Manifold broken

    How much did you pay? Digiprint sell full price heads and also what they claim are 'seconds;
  10. another stupid story

I don't give any customers credit. They pay when the order is placed , or they don't get the job done. If I was dealing with a huge company spending thousands a month regularly I may change this, but I don't have the time or effort to be constantly chasing accounts departments to get paid.
  11. Roland SP300i Replace?

Parts are readily available for these. All the normal service parts are easy to get. There are sellers on Ebay who sell most of the other parts like boards, motors etc.. all the common things that fail.
  12. Error1 wrong command on gx-24

I imagine after 3 years they have fixed it....
  13. Need Help Roland VersaCamm VS-640i doesn't print white

As it has been over a month since you first had the problem, there isn't much chance of rescuing the head now, so it will need replacing. They are around $2000. You can fit them yourself if you have experience, but are better off getting a tech to do it, so probably around $3000 - $3500 for the...
  14. Harley Davidson replacement graphic

There can be good money in doing restoration work. I have done quite a bit on vintage race bikes for museums and private collections. It can be fun as often all you get is a few badly angled grainy black and white pics from the 50s or 60s and have to work out what needs to go where. It's not...
  15. Harley Davidson replacement graphic

I do agree that companies should have the right to protect their designs etc.. but it is a stupid situation when for restoring older vehicles they won't give permission for someone to recreate the logo, but can't actually supply it themselves. It could also be a grey area as vehicle companies...
  16. Harley Davidson replacement graphic

The difference is they do actually go after people for making one logo for someone
  17. Harley Davidson replacement graphic

Just make sure Harley don't find out or they will sue you! I had a customer wanted a replica decal for his 50s bike, and Harley couldn't supply it. He contacted them and they said if anyone else made it for him, they would take legal action. Their solution was for him to put a modern, completely...
  18. 65 Daytona stripes

Do it properly and get the stripes painted on ! you can always use vinyl for the circles. The car is gorgeous, so don't ruin it by having something less than perfect for the stripes.
  19. Zoom zoom font similar

Aspic is quite similar though with a bit of tweaking
  20. Zoom zoom font similar

I dont think that is a font as the letters dont match each other. More likely it was just designed as a logo, so there are no other letters. What name does he want as you could probably hand draw it and then scan it in and vectorise it
