I have an S80600L and the new firmware took care of this for me. I had trouble getting it to upgrade the firmware and I had to connect a laptop to the USB port of the printer in order for it to work. It kept asking for a password and my serial # did not work. The firmware is SC023N9,1.16;. It's on Epson.com, search for your printer.
