Yes, either way this will be LEDs. Possibly a retrofit but most of the faces need replaced so it's probably going to be about the same cost for new letters versus tracing faces to make the old cans.
Thank you. Are you saying they are very heavy? We'll be working on a ladder less than 10' off the flat roof below so they couldn't fall far. That was the plan, one power supply per letter connecting to the existing 120v coming in.
I’m being requested to quote replacing the attached letters with either a LED retrofit or a total letter replacement. I’ve replaced some neon signs but they’ve typically had one or 2 transformers inside the building and all the wires ran to that. I haven’t been on site but from this picture it...
Does anyone know where I can get a frame like the attached? It holds a 6x9 panel. The local theatre has a bunch of these so we'd like to match or get really close. We used to purchase from JRS Inc but I can't find them since they went out of business.
I have a customer requesting a sign similar to the attached and I'm interested in how you might produce. We've done a number of custom fabricated aluminum frames but for this project the want something less formal and more rustic . I'd like to do the circle out of frosted acrylic which is no...
I paid the money and talked to Gerber Technical support. We originally diagnosed a bad cooling fan but they said I could run without that if I wasn't running it hard. I tried that but neither the router motor or my vacuum would kick on like they should. We did a bunch of testing and it seems the...
I have a Gerber Sabre 404 that we've had for many years and has been trouble free besides replacing the router heads as needed until today. I was routing a panel that needed to be done in 2 pieces it cut the first half and then I needed to shift the panel. When I went back to my router room I...
Our Summa died and while we are awaiting parts I picked up a used Graphtec FC8000-160 to keep us running. It's connected via serial port. We can cut from Flexi perfectly fine. The issue is with trying to print and cut from Onyx. Most files, when we send the cut file it doesn't try to read the...
My Summa took a crap today. Awaiting word in getting parts to repair it but we can only go without a plotter for so long so I want to explore buying a replacement. Does anyone in the plotter for sale? Must be at least 48" but 54" or 60" would be preferred. Must be able to work with Onyx. I'm...
I have a customer who wants a statue of the character from their logo. It would be about 7' tall and placed outdoors for photo opportunities. My first thought was Peachtree Foamcraft and I have reached out to them as well as Custom Foam Fabricators but I'm wondering if anyone else can suggest a...
I tried that but nothing has changed. Still having the same issue. As soon as I hit the Output tab it crashes. Trying to locate my installation CD so I can try to reinstall the program but I haven't found it yet.
I recently upgraded my computer that I run my Sabre 404 with from Windows 7 Pro(64bit I think) to Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. Now as soon as I click the Output tab in Artpath it crashes and I get a generic "Router Application has stopped working". It runs on a usb converter I've used for years with...
I honestly don't recall. I know because of my above post that at the time I had a service plan on the machine through Advantage Sign Supply. I'm pretty sure I wound up shipping the machine to Gerber and they repaired it at no cost. I may have had to pay shipping. Beyond that I don't have any...
