1. Mounting standoffs to glass?

That's what I thought also. Any other ideas? I called CR Laurence and they were quick to tell me that they don't have any thing like that. Obviously whoever had this job before us had TONS of these things. I never thought it would be this hard to locate.
2. Mounting standoffs to glass?

Man, I wish you could see what I see... all the photos are appearing just fine. I had no idea they weren't working for anyone else. Thanks for letting me know that it wasn't working. Can you see them now?
3. Mounting standoffs to glass?

I'll try the photos again. This is the standoff. Doesn't it look like there's a half-inch aluminum standoff (the hole in the glass is 3/8) inside the "top hat" that is glued or adhered to the glass? That's why I'm assuming this is a 2-piece set up. I've gotten pricing for 1/4" thick tempered...
4. Mounting standoffs to glass?

My coworker went to take the photos, but we were unaware that we would need to source the standoffs AND do the install of more of these glass panels so we weren't looking at how these standoffs were mounted to the glass. Now that we need to reverse engineer the job, I'm coming up with nothing...

6. Mounting standoffs to glass?

Hi everyone, One of our clients has had a number of signs made by another sign company. Now they want us to take over making them. Basically I'm looking for some 1 inch brushed aluminum standoffs that mount to GLASS. Our client has a very large window with colored glass plaques that are mounted...
7. How would you quote this???

I figured... I don't want to do the masonry or the electrical anyway. I guess just showing this pic to some stone guys/electricians and getting their quote, and adding it to mine?
8. How would you quote this???

Hi Everyone, I have a customer who wants me to quote a sign like the one attached. [/IMG] I can take care of the panel (HDU), and the bracketry but as far as the stonework/electrical, where do I start? I was thinking about looking in my area for stone workers and electricians? Right now...
9. How would you mount this???

No, it's nothing outside... we are doing TONS of work for a large college. Some of it is for their offices, some is in the arena, in hallways, etc. The outside stuff is made up of other substrates. These are all indoor installs, but every possible environment you can imagine... indoor where the...
10. How would you mount this???

I have many signs to make that will be made up of laminated vinyl on 1/8 inch pvc. These signs will be going on painted cinder block walls, painted drywall, unfinished concrete and wood. In the past, I've used VHB tape, but all over town my signs are failing. The tape is stuck firmly to the...
11. VHB tape and PVC not holding

So this week, I've had 2 signs fall off painted cinder block walls. These were smallish signs (4ft long x 1ft tall) and just printed/laminated vinyl mounted to 3ml pvc. Pretty light weight. They are both indoors in a climate controlled building. The tape is still firmly attached to the painted...
12. Gluing Pvc To Pvc

Yep sorry... 6mm (1/4 inch) So with that Oatey clear PVC Cement, I saw that both Home Depot and Lowes have a "heavy duty" clear cement. Supposed to work with rigid or flexible applications. Is this a 2-part process where I need the "cleaner" first, then hit it with the cement? How do you do it?
13. Gluing Pvc To Pvc

Hi everyone... Say I have a 6ml PVC sign being hung with a 1 inch PVC french cleat. Drilling and mounting the "wall half" of the cleat is easy. How does everyone mount the "sign half" of the cleat? Both are PVC. I've used construction adhesive in the past, but I do it so infrequently that even...
14. How Would You Install This?

You guys are awesome! I agree with all of you. Just looking to see if there is a new method that I wasn't aware of... and THERE IS!!! We're either going to hire two guys to hold it up there, or rent a kid with a big drone to hover this hanging sign in front of that wall. Thank you for all your...
