Most of my orders are just square or rectangular and I cut the alumalite with a jigsaw. The city wanted a shaped sign so this is what I came up with but now am looking for advice on how to cut it or what would be a better substrate. I think I have loaded the attachment for you to see it...first...
They were printed on an Epsom S30670 on a 13 oz high resolution banner at 1200 dpi. That's what the invoice says. Is this a solvent printer? Also you mention clear shield ...is that a spray? Would it be better than laminating them? I'm still debating whether I should pay the extra to have them...
Thanks so much for all of your comments! I've been a lurker up to now partly because I know I am way behind the curve on a lot of things. You have all been so kind I won't hesitate to ask for help again.

This is my first post and it was my first time to order printed banners. They are conference banners and when I got them today and unrolled them some of the edges are scuffed. They each have about a two inch trim of color around each pennant and some are worse than others. Can I use lettering...
So you are recommending translucent white plex and using translucent vinyl I cut and install...then laminate...haven't ever laminated anything. So do I buy clear vinyl and just apply over the entire face to seal the translucent vinyl? Also what do you mean by Iam...is this a brand name for ink?
I need help with a lighted sign
Open to anyone's comments....I need to replace the faces and have never done this before....I only have a cutter so was wondering about translucent vinyl. Also what kind of face do I need to order? Do I need to seal it after applying the vinyl? Sign box measures...
