I used to have a static problem back in the day when I screen printed large amounts of corro. I found the best method was a simple electrostic duster across the surface - fluff it up and go.
Worked great with solvent screen inks, but I have no idea if it would be good enough for a digital printer
I use a CE6000-60 cutter with Graphtec Studio, importing .eps files at 72dpi (from various design software).
This has always worked fine but over the last year or so Graphtec Studio crashes as soon the .eps file finishes importing. About 1 time in 10 I can get the file saved as a GS file before...
A lot is down to the increase of online suppliers offering next day or 48hr lead times. They never take into account that those headline lead times only apply if the artwork is 100% 'camera ready'.
