I sometimes get better results with a regular squeegee... but will scratch.
If you take a regular squeegee and go to a fabric store and get some micro suede and use banner tape to wrap one side.
It's thin and still lets you get good pressure on all films.
Check your sensor and make sure it is still seated properly.
We've put premask over top of the reg marks and drew them on with pen.
Usually on Metallics or really reflective surfaces.
I had asked 3M about that during a training course and they told me that it goes away.
I'm still not convinced on that.
If you can hold it off the flaw as you install it, it usually helps.
That's what I thought.
I ordered them from 1 supplier (not oem) and sent them back when they didn't work. I then ordered oem blades.... Stil no luck.
Looking at just getting new holder.
Blades
I have a question about the same blades.
Ordered CB09 blades put them in and they stop swiveling and don't work.
The new ones are a little different then the old ones. I have been trying to figure out if I should just buy a new holder.
Original ones that came with the machine work...
We try to get people to wash them before they get to the shop... I think if they show up with them all dirty I will just tell them to go get it washed up the street and come back with it clean. Probably the fastest and then we don't have to do as much.
CP, I think what you should do is go for dinner bring the whole family...
After dinner tell them the food wasn't exactly what I thought it was going to be and I don't think I liked the price.
And then leave!
We like the 3m tape the best doesn't rip as easily and stays flat better when you go to install. Aggravates me way less when we install. R tape was supposed to have a formula that was the same but it wasn't.
