We wrapped 10 food trucks for a the Buds n Burgers event here locally. All of the trucks were already wrapped. We used 180CV3 which sat on there for about a week before we pulled it off with no problem at all.
I've told people before the tape we use and we get made fun of the price we pay....nearly $8.00 per roll. Two 4" pieces can be used on an entire wrap and in the cold weather as well.
To me, it has a more flexible feel to it. Easier to install, less creases. Doesn't sliver in the cold like R-Tape. Sticks to air release liner.
I personally use the 3M-SCPS2 premask.
Looking for an idea of a decal I can stick in the door jam for wrap care. What's a short to the point message about wrap care that can be stuck on? I saw one on here once before. Thanks in advance!
Thanks guys. Do most of you guys stop at the roof line or go over? We have made it standard to go over our roofs on vans, transits, etc at least 4-6 inches. A lot of our customers like we go over the roof.
I would think dependent on your budget and how happy of a customer you want.
cheap vinyl cheap lam
cheap vinyl heavy lam
tacky vinyl heavy lam
cast vinyl cast lam
all 4 options work. however needing to last a year you might not want to cheap it out. We did the St. Louis Blues practice arena...
I love feedback! That sign is actually coming down shortly and being replaced with channel letters. We did the van about 2 months ago, before we recently dropped the stroke and gradient in the logo as pictured in my profile pic for signs101.
2 and 3 are clean. 3 stands out more in my opinion because of break up of color. It's very simple to the point. Many wraps these days are impossible to read. Great job!
