A new head, dampers, cap top and whatever else needs to be done will essentially make it print like new. If you really want to sell it, message me with a price, it would be worth the trip from Florida for me.
We’ve had our VS-540i since June 2015 and it travels, we have a mobile shop. It’s been a workhorse. Just did the first head replacement in the spring of 2022. Cap top about once a year. We love it and would buy another for at home if the price is right. What is your ink configuration? Ours is...
When we were making our banners, the BannerPro was our first welder and it did a decent job. It paid for itself quickly compared to banner tape. We always did a double weld for extra strength.
We upgraded to the royal sovereign after a few years and loved the quality of the welds on the...
We have a BannerPro from Supply 55 and a royal sovereign banner welder. Both are great for welding hems. We started with the banner pro, then upgraded to the royal sovereign. We don’t make banners in house anymore so both machines are up for sale. Message me if interested.
You need to right click to turn the panels on & off in versaworks. We try not to run more than 30 feet just to be safe with our laminator. The roll gets too heavy in my opinion. Trailer wraps are a major part of our business. Love applying to flat surfaces.
Get V-Carve Pro to run your router. Signlab and FlexiSign have non subscription software. Photoshop is a steal for $120/year subscription in my opinion. We’ve been using QB online for a few years. The main thing we noticed is that our customers pay faster. It’s a good fit for our business.
We have a mobile wrap & sign shop. Been in business since 1993. Our customers are in the amusement industry.
A good friend and colleague of mine closed his shop and went to work, part time, at a new shop nearby. He was happy and the owner had no problem with him taking care of the customers he...
We use a Yellotools boost box bucket to off gas our prints. They say you can get 24 hours worth of off gassing in 4 hours. We haven’t had any issues from using this method.
I started with a kroy cutter with 10 fonts in 1993. Got SuperBOSS Jr with 30 fonts 6 months later. Then got Signlab. I’ve used and upgraded it to version 10. Then tried FlexiSign.
Now most of our work is in photoshop, with FlexiSign and Signlab for anything vector related. Now we’ve added a CNC...
There’s a cut sequence button that I use. Once you’re in that setting click on each item in the order you want it to cut. If you click outside of an area it will assume you’re done and cut the rest in the order it was before you started. Hope this helps
I’ve been using signlab since version 3...
We have a SawTrax 52” Panel Saw - Compact 52 Signmaker Package for sale.
It includes the Makita 7-1/4” circular saw for cross & rip cuts, ACM cutter and blade cutter for Coroplast, pvc, etc. We’re switching to a Fletcher FSC that will be better suited to our needs. We’ve used the ACM cutter and...

Both of these techs are fantastic and won’t break the bank. We’ve used them both
Save yourself a ton of money, time and aggravation and just buy OEM ink. The money you think you’re saving will come back to bite you. It’s a necessary expense. I made the mistake on another printer we had. It was ok at first, then the colors were off a little. Then they were off a lot. Even...
We have a Yeti Smartbench Precision Pro that we’ve used to cut MaxMetal (ACM) with vinyl applied first. Haven’t tried coroplast yet, but with the correct bit I’m sure it’s possible.
