I believe the service calibrations are part of the service mode options. You will need to find something called POD test and enter a 16 digit code. This will unlock new options that you couldn’t see otherwise. I’ll send you the code shortly.
Are you sure the printer is not referring to the media...
I have. In parameters change ink set. When it prompts you to plug in cleaning cartridges turn off the power and unplug the power cord. When you start the machine back up it will ask you what inkset you're using. It worked for me.
Does photozoom pro or perfect resize keep the elements in the foreground from going "soft". Its easy to avoid pixels but i want to avoid the pixels without everything getting blurry. Our guidelines are to keep everything 72dpi or higher. So if your image is 24" at 300dpi you can enlarge to a...
First check the pixel switch. Since its the whole channel that could be your problem. Are there any lights on the heads with the machine on? You could do a head swap as well but do not plug any working heads into the light cyan channel. If there is a problem with the board it could mess up any...
Alright so you are getting fill errors right? Its unusal for the pump to sound different unless there is air at the pump. Have you swapped the pump connections as well. I know you tricked the machine into thinking channel 2 is 3 and vice versa but did you swap the connections at the pump without...
Do you know why you started having problems? Did you run out of ink or have a clogged primary filter which triggered an ink fill error? In my experience if I get a fill error
I would do the following. First check to see if the is plenty of ink remaining in the bag. If there is ink, check for...
Are you running heavy or light smoothing? Unidirectional or bidirectional? Your data cable could be the problem. With the machine off unplug the data cable from the carraige and then plug it back in. I have another weird test. Setup your multilayer print as usual. Before printing turn off you...
I would assume that if your issue is related to the multilayering, you would have issues regardless of whether or not you are using a flood white mutilayer or a full color multilayer. The test would help rule out the rip file being the issue.
Have you figured it out yet? These lines are on the printers y axis right? We have a qs. It looks like tunneling or ink buildup on the belt causing a high spot. Raising the heads will help it blend in better.
We have a colowave poster printer. Its an awesome printer for short run poster printing so long as toner based ink is acceptable. $15 a piece for short runs with print ready files sounds about right to me. Just ran 300 18x24. Took about two hours unattended to print and maybe 10 minutes to...
Is the coro actually melting or is it just bowing upward causing headstrikes? What is your head height? I run a qs2000 usually in 540 dpi. I can also run in 1080 dpi but it prints much slower(effectively 16 pass). The 1080 gets significantly better curing at medium lamps with leading lamp only...
You probably do need to change the damper. I would swap the magenta head with another color. The starvation will not necessarily follow if the damper is affixed to the head. If the starvation is immediate and relative to ink consumption (with no error messages) then usually you would have a ink...
