  3. Tracing channel letters

Hello forum. Are there better ways of tracing channel letter cans? Has any one getting this done digitally? I can think about taking many photos next to a 12" x 12" (or another known size) square, fixing perspective in photoshop and vectorizing from there.
  4. Large indoor polycarbonate installation advice needed

Thank you! You are right about the exposed hardware on the back. Now I'm thinking about making a frame out of J channel and using a french cleat on the column secured with carriage bolts to the panel. The doorways are 13' tall. The panel will be ~50 lbs. I will add 1/2" end caps on the...
  5. Large indoor polycarbonate installation advice needed

Thank you! Yes, there's access to the site to carry the panel. I'm looking for a solution where I can "rest" the panel on something before securing it with screws. That's why I like the uchannel solution. I would use the seg frame but 1/2" acrylic letters won't stick to the fabric.
  6. Large indoor polycarbonate installation advice needed

Thank you for your message. The white acrylic is part of the design that's been provided by the client. We had good results using VHS tape and aluminum. I will try painting vinyl. Thank you!
  7. Large indoor polycarbonate installation advice needed

Polycarbonate, because it comes in rolls and we can make it seamless.
  8. Large indoor polycarbonate installation advice needed

Hello forum. We are going to produce and install a large polycarbonate panel. I'm looking for a advice on two questions: 1. Our client has requested that we match the panel's color with that of a brown wall, which has been coated with latex paint. To avoid the complexities of calibrating our...

  10. White vinyl with air channels and clear adhesive

The description says the adhesive is light grey. I'm looking for the material that is white on both sides.
  11. White vinyl with air channels and clear adhesive

Hello forum. Is there a white vinyl with air channels and clear adhesive? We use Oracal 651 for glass, and when installed on second surface you can see little bubbles. I was told 751RA will work. I haven't tried it yet.
  12. Aluminum cabinet without welding

I didn't install this sign. Should I go there and do it anyway?
  13. Aluminum cabinet without welding

I see SignComp offers a profile that comes with little corner inserts.
  14. Aluminum cabinet without welding

Hello forum. I would like to know how to make sign cabinets similar to the attached images. Currently we offer 1/4" ACM signs (the most affordable) 1/2" luster board (this material has a poor reputation for falling apart) 2" or 3" HDU (way more expensive and take at least 20 hours to produce) I...

  16. Upgrade from 335 to 700w?

https://www.signs101.com/threads/troubleshooting-hp-700w-error-dead-screen.171375/ Quote: "HP has a serial number list of printers that had the faulty luer lock connector. " I had that problem. I would like to know if my printer is on that list. And also I would like to know why I wasn't...
  17. Troubleshooting HP 700W Error Dead Screen

How to check if my printer is on the list?
  18. Upgrade from 335 to 700w?

Do you know if all 700 and 800 printers had the leaking ink feature? When did HP learn about this? I wonder why they didn't inform those who purchased the faulty equipment?
  19. Upgrade from 335 to 700w?

Thank you for sharing. I admire your patience. I wish we purchased our printer from Grimco as well (well, I wish we didn't buy 700w at all at the first place). We were having the same issues including leaking inks, long warm up times, jams, ink cartridges didn't get recognized etc. We bought our...
