Thank you! I considered trying to do the kiss cut with the blade in spot #2 so it's not against the teflon strip, but then I would have to strategically place my pinch rollers. I think that MIGHT work, though, come to think of it. Hmmm.
Hello! I've been wondering lately about a certain type of sticker I'm looking to offer to customers. When I do pop-out stickers, I usually set a border of about 1/4" for the perf cut, then the normal kiss cut. This leaves a 1/4" of scrap to weed, and leaves a white liner border on the finished...

Hello, can anyone please recommend a good pearl white calendared film that will weed cleanly? I have an order for stickers that will have some finer lettering that weeds well with Oracal 651, but will almost certainly not weed cleanly on a cast wrapping film, which I know has many pearls...
Thanks to both of you. Those may work. It's only for a temporary building relocation/"we moved" sign, so it shouldn't be necessary to have super high clarity.
Hello, I need to make a large sign for a customer which will need to include a map. I am hitting an absolute dead end trying to find any way to create a high-res map using Google Maps or MapQuest. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
I can't find any obstructions anywhere. Keep in mind a tech was out here, and that this happens consistently at around 15-20'. An obstruction would imply to me that this would happen immediately, no? I clean and lubricate BOTH rails minimum of once a month, sometimes bi-weekly.
As embarrassing as this is to admit, I'm not sure what you are referring to, but I would be very interested in knowing! Something I failed to mention is that RIGHT before it fails and this happens, the printer makes a loud thumping noise before the carriage assembly makes a pass. It'll do this...
Bump for a question to anyone reading that may know... could having my vacuum max'd out cause this? I would think if that was the case, it would happen almost right away rather than 15-20' in to printing, no?
Hello all. This damn printer... I'm about to light it on fire. Last spring when I was printing my first wrap on it, it would shut down about 15-18' in to a 20-25' job (full width). The first panel would print fine, but the second one would fail. This happened while it was still under...
Doesn't that require a completely separate blade holder? I looked online for some info on setting up everything for that, but couldn't find any information anywhere. Would you mind explaining how to set everything up for this method, or linking me if you have a resource somewhere? Thanks!
