While i'm not familiar with that particular brand, but we're still using a 30" Panther cutter we bought from them back in December 2005, so they can offer up some good stuff, for what it's worth...
I think ive experienced what you're describing. I've learned that this happens when i import images that the resolution numbers are simply "too high", thinking if i want to change this, i'll need to upgrade my desktop to handle such images...
Instinctively, that's one I went to as well, but side by side- it lacks the "squareness" that's also needed to replicate correctly. Appreciate the input!
My experience has been that folks with the perfect tool to cut them for me (local metal shops, roofing companies, race car shops) have no time to deal with my puny requests, and it feels like i'm inconveniencing them greatly. It would be much better if I could find them cut to size ahead of...
...Omegabond, or that type sign blank for sale and would ship "cut-to-size"? (I've found it to be kinda difficult to find a good source to have it cut for me locally, making it unrealistic to buy it by the 4x8 sheet)
Ridiculous to have to ask, but I can't recall the name of a great sign blank material, and i'll be needing some soon. (guess i'm fortunate that I've got this forum to ask!!)
