Pretty easy to make an image with a pc.. In fact, you might just be experiencing an error.. Do the image so you have a backup of it's current state then attempt a file repair.. Just don't use the windows repair system as it'll just "Fix" files by turning them into .chk files. Most devices use a...
Caps often have a lifespan - usually 10 years or so for a good brand.. Many continue on for decades.. Some fail after months.. Checking for ac ripple is an easy test - obviously shouldn't be any on a dc line (although smps will produce some by nature of their operation, it shouldn't be much)...
Unfortunately it's not that simple as if you touch a servo motor you'll notice a slight vibration - this is because the motor is trying to move to the commanded position, yet there's always a slight overshot (inertia of mechanical components) - so it's usually never "Exactly" at the right point...
Servo motors draw current to remain in position unlike standard motors. Hence the small current draw. See if the current increases if you push it with your finger.. It shouldn't move and the current should rise.
Test the psu voltages in AC mode.. Make sure no caps have failed.. Shouldn't have...
I've not used it myself, but it sounds like this vinyl is probably reflecting too much infrared. Try putting a patch of normal vinyl where the registration marks would print and see if there's a difference.
Polyurethane (Gorilla and similar) are usually used - they are usually foaming adhesives (water vapour), so spread thinly and clamp - as long as the surfaces are clean and you spray a tiny amount of water on the opposite surface, you'll only get slight foaming on the edges - but they need water...
Yup.. Easy clean paints are by definition non stick to some degree. Usually they have a silicone element - same stuff used in the release liner. Some use waxes instead - these are easier to fix as a solvent will remove the wax. The more water beads up on the paint, the harder it'll be to stick...
It's usually down to Photoinitiator oxidation - either not enough Photoinitiator to start, or it's been desensitised due to oxidation (age, storage, composition, etc) . Quite a few chemicals also affect curing (cleaning products especially) - I use silicone resins alot - the amount of things...
If it has mercury bulbs (UV) - they need to be changed - they have a lifetime.
UV leds can go, but usually last a lot longer.
Have you read the user manual that tells you all about the UV side?
Try leaving the prints in the sun - if that fixes it - it's a fault with the UV side. If it...
Whilst I HATE ads.. As you say - it costs money to run any site..
I'd far rather have a site with ads, than no site at all.. These days there are very few places for sign minded individuals to get together.
So from me.. Cheers Mate..
Main board primarily - power boards tend to have problems with ac ripple getting into the dc lines because the caps are old. That's why they went to thermal pads - easier to ensure there's at least some contact.
Think it's down to cooling. Some versions of the board didn't allow space for cooling. I've fixed a few - the issue tended to be a lack of thermal compound. It happens to most machines - all down to how they are assembled.
Changing ID codes on firmware can work, but it messes up the checksum - if the system still let's you flash you're fine, but otherwise you "Brick" the machine - the only way past that is to copy the flash memory from one machine to another by taking the chips out and reprogramming them. Most...
Lol.. It's ALWAYS Microsoft.
All they're interested in is how they can monetize what we've already paid for.. They don't care if things actually work.. All they care about is if they can get extra ad revenue, etc. The majority of people don't complain as all they use it for is browsing.
I love...
