Hi Bigben - sorry to open this old thread up - at the beginning of the thread you mentioned you were looking that would work with 3mm or 6mm dibond - and at the end of the thread you mentioned you found something you were happy with - the hand model from asc365 - you posted a link to it also.

I'm a small sign shop - and a customer has sent me a xls file with some graphics and tons of small text in umpteen paragraphs that spans multiple cells in an xls document - he wants a large format printout of it.
Ack.
I work with coreldraw x5 - I've tried exporting the xls file to a pdf - it...
Thanks AMS - those look fantastic - high quality too....unfortunately yes they would cost me significantly to ship to Canada - still - I'll keep that in mind as I can't seem to find anything in ontario that would fit the bill.
Much appreciated for all the responses -
I have a customer in southern ontario that wants some signage to designate material storage in his exterior lot - they want some exterior small (5' high) signs on posts that they can place on the pavement and possibly move around as needed. I don't know what to use for the bases of these ?? I...
Hi - I need suggestions as to a good company for service on my VS540 - I believe I need a new head - getting hard to get the drop outs back on the black - some missing permanently - existing head is 4+ yrs old.

dry erase unhospitable
you need a porcelain magnetic dry erase board if it's in a rough environment - sounds like 5' high x whatever wide- give this guy a call - he does these and has them in stock - big ones to. He does custom sizes. You'll have to do it in vinyl - no laminating needed for...
Wow ! if the 17 is high for the used is 23 right for the newer vs ? Right now from what I understand (the exchange rate is pretty well on par) the us prices and cdn prices are the same.
Yes that was a big one for me about the heads - 3200 vs 1000 - the new vs replaces the vp - they are very close in speed old vp prints 55sqft/hr@ 720x720 dpi and the new vs prints 90 sq ft hr @ 540x720 dpi. But the 2 year warranty with the new one is a big plus.
The only reason I'm jumping...
Forget the lawyer - you will loose more than 8k with him alone - forget the insurance company. Any compensation you will get might come from the supplier (but maybe not after this long -and I wouldn't deal with them again) - probably didn't package things up right in the first place - and...
So I've finally decided to buy at either a used vp540 (17K - about 2 yrs old) or a new vs540(23k) - I'm dealing with a very reputable dealer - the used vp he has had alot of small ink splots on the bottom of the stand under the ink bottle - I bent down to look closer and then I looked up at the...
Hi - So I'm looking at purchasing one of the above machines for my 1 man shop - I have no experience with these but am tired of vinyl - the company I'm considering has one of each - both at the 15K price with 6 months of warranty - is this a good price ? I know the sc has 6 heads & the sp has 2...
I was having problems with production manager in flexi - it was just hanging and not connecting to the cutter - so I uninstalled flexi - and now when I try to reinstall flexi the updating dll window flashes at the center of the screen - then the copying files box comes up on the screen top left...
