17 mil vinyl vs.... my plotter

I have a Graphtec 7000, and got 3M 3400 and thought I would cut it for a sign (letters) well not realizing that it was 16mil *I think*... my plotter won't cut all the way through... is there anything I can do to make it push down more?

im unfamiliar with the graphtec, but can you possibly cut it twice?

Can you adjust the depth of the blade out of the tool holder? Not familiar with the graphtec, but I know on my Mimaki I can turn the tool holder and adjust the depth of the cut.

You probably need to switch to a 60 degree blade
