Can't import Corel file to Composer 5

I am trying to import a .cmx file into Omega and I keep getting an error. It is Error: 0x80004005 Code:0x0D36AD41. That is all the error says, and then refuses to import the file. I've tried importing the same file to Inkscape and it errors out too. My Composer is up to date, and it will import any other kind of file...I just don't want to have to redesign this customer's file in Omega. Please help!

open in corel and save as eps?

When you export the CMX out of Corel, check to see if any legacy versions are offered. It may be that the CMX version is newer than Omega 5 can import.

seemed to have been corrupt, but illustrator was able to get most of it. eps sent.
