Question Eco-Sol empty cartridge recycling?

Are there any places that pay to take empty eco sol carts? I have a stack of 220s and 440s.

I take mine to OfficeMax/Office Depot. You can turn in 10 per month for a $2 credit each. Or if you don't care about the credit, they will take whatever you bring in. There do in my town anyways.

Staples also does $2 per cartridge. The starting limit is 10 per month.

Thanks. I saw Roland takes them but I have to ship at my cost. A number of years ago I saw someplace that paid for shipping and paid for the carts. Does OD or S require a purchase to turn them in or is it just an easy $20/month?

I also have ink cartridges stacked up and I was wondering if anyone has had any success trying to get whatever ink is left in each cartridge.
Does anyone use up all the ink without some being left in each cartridge?

Please let me know if there is a way to remove the ink that is left.
