Error opening Omega 2.0 Composer

I recently purchase Omega 2.0 software from a local sign company. When I try to click on the Composer Icon I get an message that says " this system is not licensed to run this version of omega". The software will load just fine on my Windows XP laptop and the original owner reinstall again with no problems. I also had a computer shop go through my laptop and reinstall XP thinking the problem was on my end. Can anybody out there tell me what the message means. I use the software along with a Gerber GS15 plotter that I use for onsite monument lettering....Thanks

Sounds like the dongle can not communicate with the Sentinel (security) driver. Double check all your USB ports to see if they're working. Also make sure the Sentinel driver has been installed. Usually that automatically installs first.

To be honest...since it's going to be your bread and butter, I'd say spend $745.00 and upgrade to Omega 5.0. For an additional $195, you can also get the layout station (design only, no cutting). It sure beats fighting with software issues and it will pay for itself your first week out in the cemetery.

We also do monuments and we just added Omega to our software lineup last week and it's been a welcomed change.

Hyatt's is stating that the special runs through Dec. 31, 2014.
