I had a smaller Graphtec before I would change the force in the middle of cutting, simply by pressing "Condition" on the plotter. Easy. Now with my FC 8600, when I press condition while it's cutting, nothing happens. Why??

Press condition once - Once it's done the "Step cut" conditions should show up... it's not instant. If it's doing a 48" Long line, it'll wait until its at the end of that cut, and the motor changes steps and then bring condition up. Same with a circle... if it's cutting a big circle, it'll wait until the whole circle is cut before it brings it up. Generally when it lifts the tool up, it'll bring the conditions menu up... if you press it twice, or multiple times, odds are you're closing it after it brings it up.
