Help with .plt file type

Hey guys,

I work for a fire department and we just received a brand new truck. The company that lettered the truck sent me a .plt file of the lettering, i believe this is a cad type file. Can anyone by chance convert this to .ai or .eps .... I was asked to letter the door numbers on the 2 other truck to match the new one. I would just like to convert this file, any ideas ?
