aggggg
I could swear that I used to be able to do this
(granted ages ago, so I don't remember process)

can't you
just
use the 'square' (or something or another)
tool
and double click on the page
to get an 8.5x11 page background

did that make sense? does anybody understand what I mean?
please tell me you do, for I used to be able to do this, but
for some reason am not able to do this now...no matter what
tool I try

what is the trick again?

I can't even read the 'help'
everything I think to search for doesn't give me the hint

thanks
:Coffee:

Not quite sure I understand but you cad ad page 1- or draw a square around your default 8 x 11 you know in page setup I'm assuming Corel

oooh sorry, thought I posted this in the corel section
corel draw v13

yah yah
but it's a shortcut to this

draw a square around your default 8 x 11 you know in page setup

this way you don't have to line anything up
it does it for you
it just places the actualy page directly over
your setup page that's already there when you open corel
(mine is set to 8.5x11)

that make sense? know what I mean?
hehe
I'm terrible at explaining myself when it comes to
having to break down the individual parts of something
sorry

yeah, see I'm no good at explaining this LOL

I don't want to add an additional page
I want to be able to add 'page frame'
without having to go into the set-up

NOW finally I've made sense ;)

but I used to know a short cut to this
it was something like
selecting the rectangle tool
and double clicking it while 'over' the page

but I guess that's NOT it, cause' I can't get it to work
and I swear I used to be able to do this
using some tool or another before, but can't remember what

well thanks for trying guys ;)

I will keep hunting

have a good night

(what are we all doing awake?)

Well the police are searching the neighborhood with helicopters walking around with flashlights & dogs. They told me to go back inside when I walked out to the front porch,my dog is going nuts,I just let him out into the backyard. Besides that, watching TV It's only 1:00

no seriously STAY inside - if it were me, I'd have that dog
in my house protecting it from the inside so he could get
to every window/door/opening he had to

stay safe

Yes, dbl-click the rectangle tool to create a rectangle the size of your page...that is the way to do it. Also, dbl-click the select tool to select all objects.

If anybody gives a **** there were 4 individuals trying to enter the pawn shop in my neighborhood through the roof of the pawn shop. What a bunch of dumb asses as if they didn't see the structural steel blocking vehicles from backing through the facade of the building, they sure didn't case the joint to see they put all small arms & jewelry in safes,or notice the stainless steel racks locking the long arms, shot guns & deer rifles in the racks, I'd shoot them myself just for inturepting my sleep and conversation.
