Do you need "john deere" or do you need to write another word. I don't know what the font is, but I just scanned and edited it.

that is the 1920-40's logo.............more then likly it was hanf drawn.

a little late, but this is a hand painted variant of Bookman Old Style Bold and Cooper Black. To recreate, you can use a font editor and open Bookman Old Style and change the serif to match. Also the letters with angles like "N" are a bit different but also easily manipulated in a font editor. Just edit and save as something new like "John Deere Old Style.ttf"
