Recommendations for High Traffic Floor Application

Local high school inquired about placing decals on hallways to use as directional markers, etc. Over 2000 kids a day walking on them as well as custodial daily mopping, etc. What do you recommend or would you recommend to NOT do it?

3M 40C-20R vinyl with 3M 3645 overlaminate.

3645 laminate is expensive, but incredibly tough.

Floor decals are not meant to be long term. Most will say about 6 months at the most. You can use the 3645 laminate but I would go with a stronger adhesive on the vinyl. But the 3645 at around $1.90 a sqft cost ($1,300/roll) will probably make the decals to expensive for a school. Also unless your doing a lot of decals it would not be worth ordering that roll as you will be sitting on expensive inventory.
