First off I'm new here so sorry is I'm in the wrong section...
so first off i have the VJ1204AS and it was working pretty good for 2 years straight and about 5 months ago it started acting up. it would act like it was printing but no ink would come out, we checked all the fuses and a local graphic guy said to replace the resistors... Long story short the oil main board is ruined beyond repair, Which brings us to today. I have a new main board installed and a new print head waiting to be installed. I'm am currently trying to find the firmware to download but i have had no luck on mutoh's sight. so my questions are...
Can anybody email me the latest firmware for a vj1204?
can genuine mutoh firmware be used since the printer is a signwarehose printer with a main board that is not from signware house?
how do i get the parameters from the old bord or can i get them at all?
any help is greatly appreciated.... i have been pulling my hair out over this printer...
