My spontaneous Christmas gift to myself...

...not even half a cup of coffee into the wait for my breakfast at the outdoor golf course cafe 5 minutes from my house, I realized today would be the last day I said "I've never hit a golf ball"

Here is the view of the driving range I've looked at during breakfast a number of times... & for a mere $2 I was able to experience a world class activity people come here for from all over the world... I try not to take this weather for granted... and today I had this extra opportunity to remember why I should be grateful for my home turf!
