I asked several times and two different people, and was told both times that for whatever reason they don't give out samples of Wypet, specifically.

  3. Need sample of Wypet!

Hi guys, I really need a sample of Wypet to test durability, ghosting, and which types of markers work in it, but Fellers does not provide samples:banghead:. So, since I know a lot of people here use it, I was hoping someone could send me a small sample roll, or even a small sheet of it so I...
  4. Wypet vs WipeOut

Do you know exactly why problems came up in hospitals? Was it something specific to hospitals, or just frequent use? If its the latter, that may be concerning to me.
  5. Wypet vs WipeOut

Hey guys, I've been using a sample roll of dry-erase WipeOut, and found that the stuff is really good. I havn't had any ghosting with any color (yet) and it seemed to be long lasting. People have been recommending Wypet for a dry-erase lam, but Fellers doesn't give samples of Wypet. I wanted to...

  7. Would the big squeegee work for this?

Hey guys, I am looking for a way to cut vinyl and laminate with dry-erase laminate at the University I am at. There is a multimedia room with a large 54" rotary paper cutter I plan to use for cutting, but no laminator. I need help deciding if the Big Squeegee would work for what I need. How...
  8. Help a beginner out with dry-erase material?

Thanks Pat, the information you provided is extremely helpful to me. I've made a shortlist of substrates and laminates, does anyone know of any specific high quality dry-erase laminates that work well with the big squeegee? I am concerned that a lot of the laminates on my list apparently have a...
  9. Help a beginner out with dry-erase material?

I talked to a local sign shop today who said he never laminates vinyl until the vinyl is already applied to the substrate. Is this recommended? I need the vinyl laminated before it is applied.
  10. Help with outsourcing cutting

Can you explain this a little more? I'm not offended, just want to understand the shop's point of view. I want to supply my own vinyl because it is for a product that requires a specific adhesive, and high quality dry-erase laminate that most shops don't stock.
  11. Help with outsourcing cutting

Are there outsources that only provide say, printing and cutting services, and are used to "storing" material their clients dropship?
  12. Help with outsourcing cutting

Hey guys, I'm new to the industry and was hoping for some help in outsourcing vinyl cutting. I assumed the first step would be to get the supplier to dropship my roll of vinyl to a local sign shop. However, the problem is that each customer I have will need different dimensions of vinyl. Would...
  13. Help a beginner out with dry-erase material?

For my application, the vinyl would be attached for more than a year. Hopefully there's something that that can stay adhered for extended (1+ years) of time and still be removable?
  14. Help a beginner out with dry-erase material?

The one by Rtape? I have read good things about that one, highly considering it although I imagine it isn't cheap. I also like the look of the 3m comply adhesive, Are there advantages to buying separate laminate and vinyl? Would laminating the vinyl myself add a step I would have to outsource?
