    I included instructions on how to replace your MOBO. it is a little tricky and make sure you try the password a few times if it doesn't work the first time.
    Backing up and then reinstalling the firmware is tricky.
    I have a brand new XpertJet 1641 - Mutoh is replacing the MOBO on it today. The printer is only a month old. I will be curious to see how different the process is from the previous models.
