  1. 400 hours

Some people are willing to pay still. Me and a buddy just did a wall mural that was hand painted.... Was like 20 ft x 20 ft, took us a weekend only.. but since it was hand painted, we got 75k to do it. Expenses were maybe 7-8k...paint, genie, road closure, permits, etc. Few hours for...
  2. HP 115 latex printer

If the print heads are bad, all you contaminate are the heads which you would have had to replace anyways, so it's a win-win situation. If the ink is bad you could potentially ruin the print heads, it's really bad you have to flush out all the lines... It's just not worth it.
  3. HP 115 latex printer

The heads expire as well. But you have nothing to lose by putting the heads in and new ink in and doing a test print... not like you're going to contaminate and ruin the heads! I'd say odds are it'll be fine... There isnt too much ink in the heads, and theyre pretty sealed.
  4. I'm really for closing all the frickin' borders...........................................................................

If I don't understand someone, or I feel like they're being sketchy.... I follow up with a text message confirming all the details to the number they called me at. Or tell them I'm on an install, please send all the details in an email as I can't write shit down. I do it to most people, good...
  5. How's crime / theft in your areas these days?

Shopping in America is completely different than shopping in Canada... And I feel like our crime is just as bad as yours. Over here they don't do receipt checks on the way on either, only Costco does that... Went to Walmart in America a couple months ago, every single toy was locked up...
  6. What do you say to a customer that complains about every little imperfection in a commercial van wrap?

Down here you're supposed to be certified... We were up 20 feet in the air without any harness or anything.. most of the length was because we had to go from the sidewalks we didn't squish their pavers. It was $650 for the day, Canadian, I think that's like 450 freedom units. It's $200 to drop...
  7. What do you say to a customer that complains about every little imperfection in a commercial van wrap?

About 3 weeks ago we rented a huge genie with a 60 ft extension arm to do some window perf high up at a police station, some recruitment graphics that were staying up for 6 months and then being removed. We had to go down a small sidewalk, as well as a busy street... So we had to get traffic...
  8. What do you say to a customer that complains about every little imperfection in a commercial van wrap?

Haha, do you know how many times the owners or a customer have asked me about bubbles or defects, and I say it'll goa awy in the sun, knowing damn well it won't.... I think of the hundreds of times only 1 customer came back and said it didn't go away. Glad I'm not the only one who uses the...
  9. Backups

Truenas can real-time sync pretty good. I have it at my work / home both syncing files to eachother so we both have a secondary off-site.
  10. Backups

You should yes. Look into blackblaze, easy to setup and install. Set it up once and it auto backs up. Also keep your external hard drive not in the same building, otherwise if you have a small fire in the one room everything's still lost.
  11. Backups

I backup my home stuff to workmm, and my work stuff to home... Daily syncs, with file versioning - work stuff is backed up read only to my home. Also use wasabi backup with versioning and write lock ... So if someone gets access, they won't be able to delete anything (even we can't delete...
  12. window perf, hp315 and head strikes

it's the heat, not how long it's on the heat. If you go more passes, and turn the heat way down it'll be perfect. We do a lot of perf... And perf is the one media we can't use our 1 profile fits all. Low heat, more passes - or low heat, with an interpass delay... You'll never have a...
  13. What do you say to a customer that complains about every little imperfection in a commercial van wrap?

the very first thing I check on sprinter vans is around the back windows and sides, 90% of the sprinter van failures I see are those areas.... And once it starts to crack, it takes the rest of the panel with it since water gets in. And id say 90% of sprinter vans have the failures! Not many...
  14. What do you say to a customer that complains about every little imperfection in a commercial van wrap?

I'd worry about this if these are bubbles... Sprinter vans and that big recess is hard, But such huge bubbles like that will only lift more, and within a few months it'll crack and look like garbage from 20 FT away. Other than the above bubbles, which seems to be on most of the areas...
  15. Need Help Summa F-Series Vacuum not holding down material

How wide is your material? If you material is ending in half of a zone, leaving the other half leaking air... And then if you're trying to cut right on the edge of the roll there's not much you can do. Try to keep the cut at least one to one and a half inches from the edge of the material so...
