James I have quit using alta inks as I was having some equipment problems. Once the cartridge was 75% or so consumed, I would get nozzle plugging on the color associated with the near empty cartridge (s). After finally figuring out what was going on I disposed of all the alta ink I had left and switched back to Roland Max inks. Also the inks were not as durable as the max inks although close. Hope that helps.
