  1. Here's an absolute new one for me, after 51 years.............................................

"About 20 minutes later, he called me and said something was crooked." Crooked to what ? Where was the 'level' measured from for that line of copy, the ground or a body line on the vehicle ? Was it really only 1/64th ? Maybe his friend told him of a better deal somewhere else and he just wanted...
  2. Where can I find these signs?

How many of those does he already have ? Perhaps replace the lot with something more readily available ?

  5. PayPal Scam

I thought eBay owned PayPal.......... Ooops, up till 2015....... Established in 1998 as Confinity, PayPal went public through an IPO in 2002. It became a wholly-owned subsidiary of eBay later that year, valued at $1.5 billion. In 2015, eBay spun off PayPal to eBay's shareholders and PayPal...

  8. Question Worth losing a customer because I don't trust their engineering?

Have you ever had any previous issues with this client wanting 'off the books' jobs done ? Perhaps ask the client to apply for a permit, at least then the authorities will be aware of a pending job and if the sign does go up without the necessary permits (which may well happen) you bum is...

  10. Don't read this.....

  11. Don't read this.....

No need to delete, no one will know it's here and I haven't read it anyway :p But hey, if someone does see it and you really do want it gone, 'report' it and Admin will eat it for ya
  12. We're (Trying) to buy a new building!

A big move can be daunting, but with time and good planning all will be fine.
  13. COMPUTER CUT WALL VINYL

Samples shouldn't be an issue if you explain your concerns of differing paints and that you want the best possible results with the finished job. Perhaps make the sample an actual part of the finished job, if that's not possible surely there would be a concealed spot somewhere on the same wall...
  14. Copy of permit to customer?

Yep, I'd hand a Permit copy to my customer and make a note of that hand-over on my copy. He can then pass it onto the property owner if he wishes. I'd imagine the owner would want verification that the install was done with all necessary Permits.
  15. This is for anyone who screwed up lately...

Client application ? It's gonna be changed next week anyway ?
