Anyone else out there have a Gerber Ion X that they are not happy with?

Has anyone had prints from your Solora Ion in which the ink has faded or run down the sign? We've had several customers return signs that are dramatically faded and the ink wipes right off, without any cleaner. Looks like a water that got wet, the ink running down the signs, it's a mess.
So much for 3 year ink life.
We have to now laminate everything we print.

We run the mimaki off of flexi and don't have any problems at all. Love it, in fact since we have had so many problems with the Ion we are sending all of it's work to the Mimaki, so it pretty much runs all day. The joke around the shop is reverse the vacuum on the Ion and convert it into a tournament air hockey table...then buy another mimaki

I think we just became friends. Not really surehow that works. I noticed you have a mimaki. I just bought one of those too. Are you having any proplems contour cutting. We are running Onyx production house 7 and there seems to be some issues. Just wondering if you had any problems.
