There's a whole lot more to know than just applications alone. The best way to learn the various programs is one on one sessions or tutorials. Corel is, by far, the easiest to learn without too much intervention. Yeah, gonna get a lot of flack for that but....
Ask questions on the specific forum...
Oh, I see. We do 99% of our own printing, application and cutting. On occasion we send out to have signs at that size and was just curious how the vendors would set it up to do it.
Yeah, Corel don't like them there convoluted Canva PDF's. I usually try illustrator then save again as pdf. I did try this sight that was mentioned earlier. It fixed me up too.
I have pondered the idea of making my macros more accessible. Maybe at least in a new post and just add more from time to time. The trouble with a lot of these macros is that I had a lot of help in writing them and I wouldn't want credit to go unnoticed. Also many of my macros fit my workflow...

I did...
I doubt that I'll ever "cross over". I don't have to use illustrator just want to become more familiar with it. I will just refrain from pushing 1 software over the other.
With that said, I'm not sure I follow you. Let me describe a practical situation. I have text on an ellipse path now it's...
Couple of questions.
1. How to separate text from a text path? Not create outlines though. Must remain editable text.
2. Highlight & delete text on a path. line is still a text path. How to change it to a regular path?
