UPDATE: after thinking it through, I am now considering that to actually change the RIP software settings rather then previously mentioned options. As the printer thinks that it sends 42pl, but it is sending only 14pl, it is expected to have low quality outcome.
So anyone can suggest on how...
We run a Agfa Aapurna MW, with KM512 14pl print heads for color, and KM512 42pl for white. Printer has recirculation and mixing system for white ink.
When we bought the printer a couple of months ago, the white heads were badly clogged and no chance to recover them.
Now we have 2 spare KM512...
Not the speed, but trying to get more life out of the print heads. So if one of the 4 fails, I swap it.
I print at 4 instead of 8 and quality is very good for what I need. But again, color is less relevant, so no need most probably for Lc and Lm.
:)
It does not bother me that the printer is red instead of blue; but most of my work (90%+) with this printer is about making logos, qr codes etc on flat products. In a day we have to run the same file between 50 and 150 times. And then it starts to be a biggy
thanks growler, i went that path as in the manual, but no Printer optipns button available, and no skip white spaces option either in any of the other screens
Yes, i can use Onyx. Btw, another quick question: do you know why the printer will move with print speed in the non-printable areas? More concrete: attached is a file which we use to print 12 products at a time, 2 rows. Once it prints the first row, instead of moving faster to the next printable...
I have a agfa anpurna mw - a hybrid flatbed and roll to roll printer, and already printing with it - after switching from a Chinese printer). We use it to print mostly logos and other small signs on (flat) products we make - we align a few products and print same file on hundred products at a...
Yes, and eventually after many handovers from one service person n to another I managed to get hold of the Agfarip 2000, which now works. Still I am very surprised how difficult it is to find this software which should be widely available if it is used by so many agfa printers (and cannot work...
Frankly I tried to look up for the driver myself once I realizes that none of the rip software cannot work. Nothing, so I start writing to agfa, called random people who had or have identical printer, wrote to Asanti, but so far I still don't know what I am exactly looking for. A rip...
Anyone has the anapurna mw driver? I tried tonfind it anywhere but without much success, and I cannot use any of the rip solutions, even though they are on trial with the latest versions and specifically support anapurna mw. But it is missing, as far as I understand, that "little" driver which...
I am afraid there is no such agfa forum, or at least what I could find. Very little support in that sense.
Firewall is disabled, no Internet connection, no A/V (mcaffee has the anecdote of behaving itself like a virus) ports are cleared in windows.
Anapurna mw port is 5000 not 9100 (I don't...
Funny to read old threads filled with so much frustration and any lack of common sense or self reflection.
Hopefully 10 years down the road made cmykpro a bit more sensitive :)
