  1. Centraized Rip

The fact you're in 2 different locations, I wouldn't even bother. It's also way more difficult to automate shops that do a lot of different things. You'll need to put in procedures. If Onyx server is what you use to cut, then instructions would be to use only SVG XYZ version etc with rules.
  2. Job Batching Software

Do you have a budget? Because what your asking could add up quite a bit. We would do this in enfocus switch and Griffin. But you'll need to build the workflow from scratch. You could also do this in Caldera as it has as it'll auto nest for each stock. You won't get your list though.
  3. Centraized Rip

You **Can** do what you're saying, It depends how you want to set it up. Are users designing and using the RIP with no file mods? or using the RIP to edit files? or ideally quicksets? Since you run onyx, You'll want to upgrade to thrive if you dont have it. There's 2 methods. 1. if you...
  4. Units of Measurement

I've have Inched used once or twice. That's just too foreign for us. no idea what 12 1/6 or something means. :p

  6. Advice on buying a UV Flatbed printer

The canon machine is much better than the Epson. The Epson is a rebadged Flora from China with a coat of paint.
  7. New printer/cutter recommendations

if you can. i wouldnt go smaller than 54" because most stock comes in 54" wide. you can get shorter, but costs more usually. and less options. Other than that, my opinion is useless.
  8. Canon Arizona DTS prints still tacky

Only suggestion is to crank up the output. If you had the mercury lamps, then consider checking the hours and changing them out 500 hours is usually the right time (only added this for other people with the same problem on older machines)
  9. Canon Arizona DTS prints still tacky

If OP answers the question, the older the IJC 2xx inksets are tacky after print. It's quite normal and take a day to fully cure.
  10. Canon Arizona DTS prints still tacky

your username and response go hand in hand.... re read the question.
  11. Canon Arizona DTS prints still tacky

It would help to know if its an LED or mercury lamp curing.
  12. Rant What kind of sorcery is this?!

usually forum owners are more present in the community. It's done for the community. not done for a profit.
  13. Rant What kind of sorcery is this?!

Yes it is. Basically you pay for an add-on for zenforo (the forum platform) and you can run ads where ever you want. Banner, pages, side bar, popups etc. You can choose between google and custom or both. This forum you get both as you'll see some for site sponsors like firesprint and google...
  14. Rant What kind of sorcery is this?!

This place is getting worse day by day. I love the community. but how this forum is ran is pathetic. it's all for money. I helped a friend start a signs forum a few years back, but he lost interested and didn't bother with it. now I've been more and more tempted to host my own just for the...
