Mutoh falcon banding problem

Greetings from sunny ca. curios to see if anybody has had this problem with a mutoh falcon or any suggestions on fixing it im getting banding or streaking it seems to be coming from the material not laying flat under the print head like the material goes up between the pinch rollers giving it somewhat of a wave affect which in turn prints it a little darker between the rollers im using dpf 6000 xrp vacume set on high i played with the heater settings not much luck any help or suggestions would be great thanks in advance

Vinyl shelf life!

hello out there i know this is a wide question but what is the average shelf life of a roll of vinyl that you would purchase from a large vinyl supplier be. I ordered a roll of vinyl from a large supplier the date on the roll is 2/6/2008 it is avery cast metallic film is this something you would return or use this vinyl it is being used as vehicle lettering. Sitting on the shelf for three years does not seem to be good but ordered the film put the customer off for a week to recieve the vinyl its three years old just dont know how i should feel about the lenghty shelf life. Send it back or do the job. thanks
