  1. I want your old UCJV300 / JFX-EZ print heads!

Crazy is putting it lightly. Appreciate it!
  2. I want your old UCJV300 / JFX-EZ print heads!

Yeah, I’m not the biggest fan of how they implemented it all, but I do enjoy the little air purge plugs that disappear like a bad father. Sweet, let me know what you dig up. The carriage is modified to about 3x head height to generically avoid head strikes. This is ran on the UCJV, so there’s...
  3. I want your old UCJV300 / JFX-EZ print heads!

Definitely not total delams. More like regular head strike nozzle loss replacements, or the yuppy folks that won’t up a pass count, replace it. Mild electronic failure where there’s overspray that can’t be accepted on vinyl disappears on the sandpaper. This is a 1.5 year old set of heads. Head...
  4. I want your old UCJV300 / JFX-EZ print heads!

So, like the title says, I want your old/decommissioned Mimaki UCJV300 / JFX-XXXXex print heads. We print anti slip tape. It’s a head strike nightmare, but the gritty, grainy surface allows us to use heads way past their usual life expectancy. If all channels still fire, I want it! I will...
  5. Need Help Grainy Texture on Roland LG-300 UV Prints – Need Expert Insights

Post your nozzle test. Also retry this on unidirectional (in versaworks) to verify if this isn’t a bidirectional issue. How old is the machine?
  6. Refurbished DX5 head for CJV30

That’s the risk you take. Not to say that you can’t dig up a head that’s wasn’t abused or was pulled and responsibly flushed from a water based machine, you certainly can. But it’s 2024, the risk isn’t the same as it was 10 years ago. A clean nozzle test doesn’t tell the whole story, so a “it...
  7. Refurbished DX5 head for CJV30

There’s really no such thing as a refurbished Epson DX head. Refurbished implies there’s something that can be freshened up. There is nothing about these heads that can be tuned up, ready for a second home. Either it was retired because of age or failure. A blocked head that’s flushed for...
  8. Magenta Nozzles misfiring on brand new head

Is your ink date? What ink are you using?
  9. How much ink does the LG-640 really use? - 1st large format printer purchase, need advice.

I’m sure you can find a LEC540 or LEC2540 used in your market. Epson heads, no crazy ink wastage, both can do stacked clear. The UCJV330 is a great machine and isn’t a tinker toy like the 150 or 300, and doesn’t have the “be our test subject” ink wastage issue like the LG does.
  10. Mimaki JV-33 channels are falling out.

Sounds like it’s time to get out and into something made in the last decade. Market is real fluid right now, people are giving away CJV’s.
  11. White hard UV ink is printing with an ivory/yellowish tint

That was going to be my concern
  12. help... I had installed new tx 800 print head to my Chinese UV Printer, but no ink coming out

Did you unplug the printer before installing the new head? Sounds like you blew a fuse/board, or incorrectly installed your head cables.
  13. Need Help Problem with Mimaki JV33's brand new printhead

Did you replace cap and dampers with the head?
  14. Banding issues

6 years is already strike number one. Strike two is constant nozzle washes and head soaks. The solution breaks down the nozzle plate adhesive over time if overexposed. This more than likely isn’t the cap.
  15. Need Help Banding help!!

    It’s a 5 year old head, it’s probably toast.
