  1. Anyone know what this "mechanism" is called?

I just searched and it appears several sign suppliers still have them to sell.
  2. EPSON S40600 Repair Service

Well, there's always DecisionOne. You get them by calling Epson Support. Nationwide. I have not found any independent techs doing Epson repair because Epson doesn't really allow it and you can't buy parts from Epson.
  3. Printed Color Change Wrap

Raising price makes it realistically possible to hire someone to cover all the work that is making you busy. The comparison for this particular job is how much the color change would be if done at an autobody shop. Earl Scheib doesn't do color changes for $99.95 any more.
  4. font help

I could be wrong but I seriously doubt it's a font. The crossbar of the A lines up with the crossbar of the t? The h vertical stroke drops that far below baseline? The quotation marks look that different?
  5. Graffiti Remover for Window Graphics

All the solvents that are used to take spray paint off will also take the vinyl off. Or at least dissolve it.
  6. Substrate

Kinda looks like what happens when people use expanded PVC board (Sintra, Trovicel, etc.) for outdoor signage after the sun works on it. I would think that heating with a heat gun might be safer for the ink and plastic than using a torch. Slower. But safer.
  7. Graffiti Remover for Window Graphics

After installation paint it with this: https://exteriorcoatings.com/product/vandlguardone-premium-anti-graffiti-coating/ Then if it gets painted:
  8. Epson s80600 random ink drops

I usually find a piece of fuzz stuck somewhere on the print head assembly when I see in drops like that.
  9. Question Anti-static

All I had to do was put a small humidifier on the floor right behind my printer. It was an Essick MA0800. I only had to run it on days when the heat was on and it was cold and dry outside. During those times I would fill it up and run it on high for about half an hour before starting to print. I...
  10. Can you make pole pockets without a banner welder?

We do pole pockets with banner tape to make the pole pocket. We don't hem the sides on those. If it's an outdoor banner there is a grommet through where the tape is on each corner. This is for the ones that go on a light pole, so they are usually narrow and fairly small. Indoors we do bigger...

  14. Vinyl Recommendation for Painted Vinyl

For painting we used to use enamel-receptive vinyl. It used to come in white or clear but it looks like the white has been discontinued and only Gerber 225 clear enamel-receptive is left on the market.

  16. Ghost Reflective - Dark Gray Truck

Reflective comes in so few colors that it wouldn't be an option on very many cars. Usually when I've seen people doing ghost lettering they aren't doing reflective. Maybe people are digitally printing the color onto the reflective? Found this. Example was white on white...

  18. Wine Label Material

I've used micro-suction material on windows. It won't hold well enough to do a wine bottle label.
  19. Looking for a Dye Sub Recommendation

The separate 3rd party adhesive application is what I meant by not completely turnkey easy.
  20. Wine Label Material

There are paper materials made for solvent inkjet which would work. Cutting would not work in the plotter part of your printer because it's not stuck to a backing paper. So you'd have to use a paper cutter to cut your labels apart. Briteline, Epson, Gerber, Magic, Sihl, and others make solvent...
