  1. Banners with frequently changed dates

I looked at this, but it is not recommended for flexible materials. The biggest difference with this project is they would be re-using the months & days, similar to a traditional change letter board.
  2. Banners with frequently changed dates

I was thinking about trying magnets. I just wasn't sure about the longevity of the adhesive strips.
  3. Banners with frequently changed dates

We have a customer looking for multiple banners with options to change the dates regularly. Normally, we would just use cast vinyl, but the customer wants to change the dates regularly. Other than velcro on each one, are there other solutions available?

We recently installed a GFP 300 series laminator. Getting used to it, but working great so far and one of the more budget-friendly options.

  6. Resource Scheduling

Ideally, on our job scheduling, we could allocate equipment to it, such as 1 crane, 1 bucket, etc. We can do active tracking with other systems, it is more to allocate the specific trucks to jobs.

  10. Need Help Adding LEDs to laser cut acrylic letters

Hi Rachel. We used side-bend flexible LED neon and used the laser to cut a channel the same width as the flexible LED. Leave a slightly larger opening on the ends to solder and glue in the ends. I think I have a picture of the back I'll try to find.
  11. Best Shop Management Software for Working with Multiple Product Catogories

Interesting. I will be curious to see how it all comes together. A combo of those softwares would be pretty sweet.
  12. Looking for my first laser cutter/engraver

We have an AP Lazer 4836 and it works great. We regularly cut/engrave material up to 1/2" thick. Our leftover acrylic has become usable again for trophies and custom smaller signs. It has really expanded our options and offerings.
  13. Best Shop Management Software for Working with Multiple Product Catogories

We have 13 employees using it. Learning curve was pretty quick and there are lots of training videos and weekly free webinars you can jump on. They are continuing to improve the software. The in-software chat feature connects directly to their technicians. The main items I've requested is an...
  14. This is my Experience and Review on HP Latex 570

I think there is a trend in HP making products that are unreliable and hard to support. We purchased a new Latex 365 as well as a new HP cutter to go with it. I have never been more frustrated with 2 pieces of equipment in my life. I have been in the IT industry for 20 years and worked with HP...
  15. Customer interaction tracking

We are working to better keep track of customer calls, emails, texts, etc. Do any of you use systems that integrate with email or messaging that group customer interactions in their CRM or portal?
  16. One-step away from buying a channel letter bending machine.

We are currently using an Accubend Ace and are getting ready to upgrade. We will be selling our current one if you are interested.
  17. Need Help Adding LEDs to laser cut acrylic letters

We just did similar with reflective gold on the front using a laser. Just do it in 2 stages: Front with vinyl (around 1/4" thick acrylic), thicker back layer with the width of the LED cut out of the center of the acrylic. Once glued together, you get a thick halo letter without a lot of...
