I have one and although the price is good (we paid £20k) its not a great printer really, Incredibly slow (particularly if using white) and the quality isn't fantastic.
Bofa filter on it broke and not covered by the Roland maintenance contract I get complaints about the smell although I don't...
I have the LEF-20 and I agree very easy to use but its so painfully slow especially if your using white. its a few years old now so unsure if they have a new range, not overly impressed by quality either tbh but passable.
Hi Guys,
I need some help iv got a SP300v Iv had for years, they'v been brilliant but a few months ago I come back to work and it had emptied 2 of the ink cartridges all over the floor by where the waste bottle is.
if its related the two ink cartridges were really hard to remove.
I spoke to...
Agreed ESET appears to be brilliant, not a fan of Kaspersky after they let in a very bad virus then couldn't even find it let alone remove it. ESET online scanner did though so we cancelled our subscription and moved over. Thank god for backups! I'm bias but ESET saved me and the remote...
Hey, I'm not sure what software you use but you can try this if you like it seems to work in Corel Draw.
Sub CreateBoundingBox()
Dim rc As Double
Dim NewWidth As Double
Dim NewHeight As Double
Dim OrigSelection As ShapeRange 'will allow for multiple groupings
'...
is the file particularly small just out of interest? I seem to remember having this problem with RD Works before have you tried exporting it to an .AI file in Corel and importing that from RD works?
Cool thanks Pitzu,
I don't really know a lot about profiles but Iv just created/modified one anyway wacked the heat right up (for Print and Drying) slowed the head speed down and put the ink percentage down to 100.
ill see what happens.
Running it through as rigid stuck down to a piece of Foamex seems to work not great quality, I did check the material datasheet and apparently its not suitable for UV inks,
Whats really agitating me is we could just just screen print it.
Currently experimenting on putting it through the SP300V...
I'm with you now yes iv been running it at high tension in that case, Its always been a horrible material to print on. Iv tried taping it down to some Foamex and running it through as rigid, but I guess I could laminate it and get it proper flat. I will try this. Good to know about the head...
Thanks Unclebun Ill give that a go, it does cling to the front of the machine as it comes through, slightly uphill I recon could be a good shout.
ProColor I was unsure on vacuum so Iv tried it on off,low medium and high. I assumed off would be the best but please correct me if my logic's dicey...
Hi Charlotte,
Its on a roll, although iv tried doing it in sheet format with tissue paper underneith, its a bit better but I rarely get enough printed before it starts to go badly. I'm not helped by the fact the Fuji has a finger guard that only allows you about a 3 mm gap for the material to...
Hey guys,
I'm looking for some advice I'm having terrible trouble printing on a very thin glossy polyester 0.003 inches thick (Autostat CT3) I have a Fuji Acuity II 1600 UV Hybrid.
There's a huge amount of static which along with the general thinness I'm assuming is causing the material to...
