  1. Oracal 651 vinyl

I can't tell a difference printing with UV or ecosol on oracal vs orajet . supposedly the difference is in handling and the printable vinyl wont have any contamination that could affect print quality.

I keep a small balance in my paypal account, transfer almost daily. Only time I've had problems was with chargebacks (someone using a stolen card) but thats out of PayPal hand and the cc company decides that one
  4. Oracal 651 vinyl

Why would a reputable brand intermediate vinyl, printed with Genuine Roland inks not look good? needed to last short term, but customer left it on and surprisingly lasted very good here in TX weather

What system do you use, there are ways to make it automated. I'm using bigcommerce and all of the tracking numbers get to paypal automatically
  8. PayPal Scam

Every transaction for physical goods, you must supply tracking number if you want to have seller protection. Without a tracking number a buyer can say they didn't get it and you'll lose the claim. If there is no shipping involved it would be a good idea to have a signed paper from the customer...

Have you had any cases opened against you? any chargebacks etc?
  10. PayPal Scam

I process CC payments through papal, I had to submit ID, SSN, EIN etc and phone interview. I think paypal can have legitimate reasons to ask for that info. Call paypal from a number on the real paypal website and see if that is actually them requesting the info

  13. No workers anywhere. Hint, we are in the PRC (People's Republic of California)

I'm in TX, $15 is good staring wage for someone that has to be taught how to use scissors. I'm amazed by how many people don't know how to use scissors. Fast food places are paying under $10 starting here
  14. No workers anywhere. Hint, we are in the PRC (People's Republic of California)

In the last 6 months I've went through 6 new hires to do finishing, cutting trimming etc. basic shop help at $15 with opportunity to learn and move up. No one lasted more than a week so I have up on hiring and buying a flatbed cutter which will free up my core employees. I think the labor...
  15. Summa F bed size question

I'm getting quotes on the F1612 and SXC1717, if the price is close which one is the better choice. Anyone have experience with both brands?
  16. Summa F bed size question

Ok that is good to know that I do not have to get the bigger bed versions, the f1612 price is much easier to do that the bigger beds. Are the barcodes / registration marks done in the rip (I'm using Onyx Thrive) or is there a summa software/plugin that will add those (kind of like Graphtec ads...
  17. Summa F bed size question

Do you think your 1612 would be able to cut 5 rolls 60" x 100ft into 28" x 100" panels in a 8hr workday, or how long do you thing that would take?
  18. Summa F bed size question

I plan on mostly cutting wallpaper panels on either a Summa F or a Colex, the panels 100" long on average. Would a longer bed be much faster/better for cuts this size, F1382 vs F1612 or SXC1717 vs SXC1732. There is a significant price difference between the sizes, would the bigger bed be much...

I have a 2 Roland SG2 (same as the VG2 but less printheads) and they have been both printing 8hrs per day for over a year, not a single problem. Great printers other than being on the slower side (but VG2 will be faster).
  20. UV Printer & Prints Making us Sick

It has the charcoal filters to be legally within chemical exposure levels and the rated exposure time is 4hrs per day if you read the printer safety sheet. It is definitely putting out some nasty chemicals whether you can smell it or not. I ended up upping my ventilation and adding a 50lbs...
