I dont want this item that I Purchased.. and then IMPORTED INTERNATIONALLY... to go to waste. I see that I can call ROLAND for Phone support for $200. Has anyone used this before? Is it any good?
the printer was sold to me working. I video called the guy and saw it print an image that i choose.
I haven't changed anything but the main front door sensor & the 2 paper sensors. What specifically are FFC cables?
I Have tried 2 pc's and they BOTH use usb. I will check my fuses... I dont think they are bad because i already went over them... but it is possible. Did you buy your machine NEW? or was it used and then you had it transported to you?
Hello Cornholio, I run the BN-20 utility program... but as said earlier... I CANNOT run ANYTHING! When I try to run *ANYTHING* I instantly get the "Set up the sheet" error.
Previous owner scammed me... yes it is a used printer. This is why I am trying to fix it. Like a I have already said... there are only 3 parts that could be bad.
1 of either Paper sensors (Front and rear) But they are BOTH new.
the cable going from the motherboard to the sensors.
the port on...
Both sensors are covered and the media is out past the front sensor in the video. I have had it out farther on other attempts as I have been dealing with this issue for 6+ months now. I waited 6 months for the 2 x Paper sensors to be back in stock.
Hello Zoogee World,
Thank you for the quick Reply. I am NEW to this particular machine so I am NOT sure of the names of different parts. The carriage where the print head is located, correct?
here is the link for the video:

Hello Guys,
I have purchased a Roland BN-20 and am trying to use it. The issue is that it doesn't see the media that has been loaded. I have purchased and replaced BOTH of the paper sensors, and same issue. I have tried with the MEDIA CLAMP in the UP position (Where it is supposed to be)...
